1. What are some of the previous research projects you have done?
Speech essays, dinasour project, french monuments.
2. Based on these projects, what does research mean to you?
learning something new about a subject.
3. Describe one of your research successes or failures. Why was the experience positive or negative?
One project I got behind and didn't work on my project when I should have. The night before the project was due
i was no where near finished. I had to finish my homework, do afterschool sports and finish my project. It was very

I think it helped me find a topic b/c it gave me a lot of choises to think about and
choose from.

2. Why you chose it: It interseted me and there is a lot of information on it.
3. What you already know about your topic: It was a hard time, when the stock market crashed.

How did children get educations? did they still go to school?
What did people spend thier money on?

1. Describe how the pre-notetaking sheet helped you find both focus for your topic and research questions to investigate. Did you find it easy or difficult to create a fat question from your ideas?
I found it extremly easy to create a fat question from my ideas because it was my original idea,
how did the great depression affect america, so i pretty much had my fat question, but I'm sure
